What You’ll Do:
Work in concert with school leaders to assess short and long-term talent needs and gameplan on how to efficiently fill those needs.
With your manager, adapt and execute our application and selection process to meet the needs of each individual school, resulting in a thorough interview process that instills confidence in our hiring managers in their hiring decisions.
Create organization systems to track candidates and ensure timely follow-up in each step of the hiring process.
Manage a high volume of resumes and phone screens to find mission fit and skilled applicants for our scholars.
Enact a best in class candidate experience from time of first contact until they exit the recruitment and interview process, ensuring that all candidates feel supported and excited about Democracy Prep.
Leverage your organization skills to quickly coordinate candidate interviews for your portfolio of schools.
Collaborate with the recruitment outreach team to identify sourcing needs and develop creative solutions to fill all openings.
Support outreach initiatives by attending career fairs (some Saturdays and travel required) and hosting school-based events to increase applicant interest in working at Democracy Prep.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (required)
Experience teaching, working in nonprofits, or recruiting (preferred)
TFA alumni are strongly encouraged to apply
Driver’s license (required)
