What You’ll Do
Collaborate with the Recruitment Selection Team to staff high-priority roles, meet schools’ hiring needs, and report on talent pipeline metrics.
Creatively partner with the recruitment team to identify sourcing needs.
Support Democracy Prep’s current outreach strategy by creatively sourcing candidates on platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
Create and manage robust candidate pipelines for teaching roles across Democracy Prep’s twenty-two schools across five regions.
Conduct cultivation calls with prospective candidates to determine which openings at Democracy Prep are a strong fit for their skills and motivations.
Support outreach initiatives by attending career fairs (some Saturdays and travel required) and hosting school-based events to increase applicant interest in working at Democracy Prep.
Enact, monitor, and report on Democracy Prep’s employee referral program to increase the number of referrals made at each school and in the network office.
Together with the Recruitment Selection Team, educate Democracy Prep staff about Democracy Prep’s referral program to create a culture of referrals across the network.
In collaboration with the Assistant Director of Recruitment, refine Democracy Prep’s referral program to ensure its increasing efficacy.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (required)
Experience teaching, working in nonprofits, or recruiting (preferred)
TFA alumni are strongly encouraged to apply
Driver’s license (required)
