About the Role:
You will be leading development to architect and scale our existing API used in all aspects of the Demandbase product. You will work with the business to add new features as well as with 3rd Party vendors for new integrations while maintaining 6 9’s of availability and a low response time. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of service API development and optimization and be able to understand how their service fits into the big picture.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in service development
- 2+ years of experience building robust and scalable services in Scala/Go/Java/C++/Ruby
- Solid knowledge of backend server components, service performance optimization and scaling complex systems
- General familiarity with AWS Components (Kinesis, S3, EKS)
- Able to write idiomatic service code as well implement unit tests for key components
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and deployment via CI/CD
- Proficient SQL knowledge.
- Experience with relational and columnar databases
Nice to have:
- Deeper experience with AWS Components (Kinesis, S3, EKS)
- Familiarity with analytics integrations (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Drift, etc)
