About the role:
Demandbase is seeking a Senior Director of Customer & Community Marketing to develop comprehensive, integrated campaigns that drive customer and community engagement.
You should have proven experience using online and offline tactics to grow communities and generate customer advocacy on a global scale. You know how to build relationships and identify what motivates customers, partners, and employees to engage authentically. You should also be excited about Account-Based Marketing and using ABM tactics to engage customers.
Please note that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Demandbase offices will be closed for the foreseeable future and all positions are remote until further notice.
What you’ll be doing:
- Create, manage and maintain a comprehensive and forward-looking community program including working cross-functionally to develop an overall community marketing strategy
- Develop, manage and optimize customer advocacy programs.
- Build relationships with customer and community influencers.
- Engage with the online community and respond to comments and requests and/or connect experts.
- Identify, drive and track relevant metrics of success, standard methodologies, and best practices
- Be a customer voice in the development of new products and ideas
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years of experience managing and executing large-scale community and customer advocacy programs for SaaS companies.
- Proven ability to hire, mentor, and retain employees
- Experience developing case studies of programs you led that connected with customers and grew communities.
- Proven ability to drive direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation creation skills.
- Ability to think creatively with a passion for developing and delivering big ideas for customers.
- Track record of developing novel approaches within your team or company.
