The world’s largest and fastest-growing companies such as Accenture, Adobe, DocuSign and Salesforce rely on Demandbase to drive their Account-Based Marketing strategy and maximize their B2B marketing performance. We pioneered the ABM category nearly a decade ago, and today we lead the category as an indispensable part of the B2B MarTech stack. Our achievements and innovation would not be possible without the driven and collaborative teams here at Demandbase. As a company, we’re as committed to growing careers as we are to building word-class technology. We invest heavily in people, our culture and the community around us, and have continuously been recognized as one of the best places to work in the Bay Area.
We run a variety of applications (Scala, Python, NodeJS, Ruby, and Java) and data pipelines across multiple public clouds (AWS and GCP). Knowing that we use a mix of Terraform for configuration management, Kubernetes for container orchestration, and Spark/Airflow/EMR for data pipelines, it’s important that you have extensive experience with AWS and GCP, config management systems, CI/CD frameworks, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and very strong coding skills.
What we’re looking for:
You must have at least 5+ years’ experience in a Site Reliability, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, or DevOps role with increasing responsibility and integration with product development teams. Ideally, you will have been a Software Engineer in the past, and moved into this role because you love system reliability. You should have built systems that allow product development teams to self-serve many aspects of infrastructure, maintain our general CI/CD framework, maintain production environments and SLAs while giving guidance to product teams towards that end, and build everything with a mindset of automation and infrastructure-as-code.
This position will have a great deal of interaction with our various development teams so you should be comfortable speaking with them and weighing decisions on an architecture level. Demandbase is highly security conscious so, having the desire and aptitude to balance security, compliance, and developer needs for infrastructure is paramount.
Of course, you must also have extensive experience configuring and maintaining Linux servers while using telemetry to ensure the performance of internal and external-facing production applications that run on them. You should also have the same level of experience configuring and maintaining cloud based networks in AWS (GCP is a nice-to-have or interest to learn).
Finally, it would be great if you also have experience configuring and tuning infrastructure applications such as PostgreSQL, Redis, GCP BigTable and BigQuery and all things containers. Having knowledge and interest in data structures and large data systems is a huge plus.
This position is located onsite in our San Francisco office Monday-Friday. This is not a remote role.
