The sales team is responsible for selling the full, best-in-class Demandbase ABM product suite, which is at the nexus of Marketing Technology, Ad Technology, and AI. As the Sales Director will play a critical role in developing strategic sales plans to generate revenue from target companies from $500M+ in revenue.
What we’re looking for…
- 2+ years tenure in your past 3 sales roles
- Promotion, within at least one company, in the past 3 years
- Experience selling SaaS solutions to Director, VP and C-Level executives (selling into Marketing strongly preferred)
- 5+ years direct sales experience in an outbound sales environment, consistently over achieving quota.
- Passion for customer success with the ability to communicate that passion effectively in person and over the phone.
- BS/BS required
What you’ll be doing…
- Learn the marketing technology domain to understand how Demandbase’s technology can be applied to all stages of your customer’s sales and marketing operations –attracting, engaging, converting, growing and retaining accounts.
- Lead selling activities for the enterprise accounts in a specific geography delivering subscription revenue against quarterly and annual targets.
- Develop accurate forecasts and meticulously handle sales activity in CRM (Salesforce.com experience a plus)
- Understand your customer’s marketing and advertising strategies to develop the highest impact plan for adopting Demandbase’s technology.
- Identify the right customer stakeholders and builds connections quickly to drive consensus for deals; works cooperatively with internal team for deal success
- Apply consultative and Challenger sales approaches during customer engagements to uncover customer success and ROI opportunities.
- Tailor communication to the customer’s needs with confidence; effectively delivers “memorable” presentations leveraging storytelling skills
- Systematically solve problems and hypothesizes possible pain points and implicit needs
- Interact closely with Demandbase partner sales representatives to ensure our mutual success in the marketplace. Partners include Adobe, Marketo, Eloqua, Salesforce.com, and Google.
