POSITION DETAILS
We are looking for a passionate, high-performing individual to join a collaborative program team of Delterra colleagues, external staff, and partners as Digital Technical Associate. We are seeking candidates with experience in Software Engineering.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the tech development of our digital products such as our Operations Platform (a digital software to support the operations of waste management facilities) and AMI (Ayo Milah) Chatbot (a WhatsApp based chatbot to help source segregation) and many more in coordination with the Program Manager & Digital Senior Associate.
- Responsible for strategic and tactical aspect of implementing engineering strategy and strategic operational goals to exceed user expectations for product development, quality, cost and delivery, maximizing efficiency, optimizing and driving engineering excellence.
- Manage development team in day-to-day activities, e.g., scrum ceremonies, documentation and testing, etc.
- Responsible for reviewing development team standard, logic, code, and another technical aspect to ensure we are producing clean, and efficient code based on specifications.
- Responsible for ensuring timeliness of deliverables digital products based on program's milestones.
- Own all the DevOps assets to facilitate all the digital products running at scale and in best performances.
- Lead and participate in problem solving sessions and helping in implementations, when prioritized as per capacity, for some of our other digital products and initiatives like Material Traceability, Big Generators, or any other.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant education background.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience, including experience in Software Engineering field and managing development team.
- Experienced in Full stack design and coding, specifically for both Web (with tech stack but not limited to: Javascript, Go, NodeJS, PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc), App environment (with tech stack but not limited to: Kotlin, React Native, Swift, Flutter, etc), and DevOps.
- Experienced in software architecture, unit testing methodologies, code review, continuous deployment, API (Application Programming Interface) integration, and microservices.
- Innate understanding of data modelling and SQL for scalability and performance as well as a strong JavaScript, XHTML, CSS, MVC framework, and modern stack software technologies.
- Professional fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Demonstrated conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with a record of accomplishment of pro-actively creating opportunities and thinking through next steps.
- Passion for making change happen in the environmental and/or waste space through technological innovation – we welcome you to bring in ideas of your own.
