We are looking for a field based account manager who will work across partner relations and new business development. This is a rare opportunity to be a critical member of a rapidly growing, well-funded startup. You’ll be responsible for managing key relationships, sourcing new business, launching new areas and assisting with the day to day city management across all departments. This is a role for an intelligent, experienced and self-motivated self starter and most importantly someone who is happy to work autonomously and independently.

The role will involve:

  • Managing and growing relationships with restaurants and key independent accounts across Canberra
  • Launching new areas; managing the sales, onboarding and activation process for new partners
  • Mapping and targeting restaurants in a methodical and organised fashion
  • Developing and managing a corporate client base
  • Assisting the Regional Manager in organising and implementing initiatives
  • Proactively supporting new campaigns from the marketing team
  • Working closely with the sales, marketing and operations team to drive growth and efficiencies
  • Contributing ideas to creatively market restaurants on the Deliveroo platform
  • Providing restaurant administration support on specific projects

 

Requirements

  • 1-5 years working experience, ideally in a commercial environment where you have to deal with many clients / customers
  • You must be outgoing and a strong communicator whether face to face, through phone or email
  • You must be commercially minded and results oriented
  • You must be a self-starter, hard-worker and well organised
  • Sales experience a plus
