About the team
At Deliveroo, our Global Business Recruitment Team spans multiple departments and regions and each of our corporate Recruiters is a specialist in their area. Reporting to the Senior Recruiter in the UKI org, you’ll work across the marketing, operations and commercial teams, owning requisitions end-end and contributing to various strategic initiatives.
About the role
You will support the Deliveroo UK & Ireland org, based from the London office where we're proud to offer flexible and hybrid working. You will take the lead on recruitment for various commercial (sales, account management & BDM), marketing and operations roles and own the end-end recruitment campaigns. You will have previous experience sourcing both volume and niche talent, managing candidates and stakeholders across a range of seniority and evaluating both technical and behavioural competencies. Outside of recruitment delivery, you will contribute towards various projects to drive operational improvements across our global recruitment team.
Responsibilities
- Hiring: Proactively manage the full life-cycle on junior to mid-level roles, taking a strategic and scalable approach to candidate generation that enables the broader team to deliver. Build processes for effective talent assessment for successfully influencing the quality of hires and talent, over the longer term.
- Process Improvement: Focusing on the mid-longer term (1 year plus), you'll identify opportunities to improve our approach and contribute to meaningful changes.
- Data Driven: Contribute to monthly and quarterly updates in partnership with the Senior Recruitment Manager, to be shared with the EU leadership team. Additionally, at req level, you will present key hiring metrics, pipeline reporting, and market insights.
- Strategic & Business Partnership: Effective partnering at the management level on longer-term hiring plans that translate the broader business and People strategy into the UKI team recruitment strategies.
- ED&I: Proactively manage and build hiring solutions for the longer term that can help our wider organisation and leadership team foster a diverse and inclusive team.
- Communication and Influence: You will build trust through structured and data driven communication. Making even the most complex information clear. Communicating effective both upwards and downwards.
Requirements
- Experience as a GTM/Corporate recruiter across a range of departments i.e. Sales, Marketing, Operations
- Stakeholder management - experience successfully recruiting across large and complex departments. You will have proven experience in introducing and embedding more mature recruitment processes.
- Confidence using data - experience utilising a variety of tools (i.e. Ashby Analytics & Greenhouse), to highlight trends and influence leadership teams decision making.
- Proactive and strategic candidate generation and assessment at the junior to mid level - a successful track record of building talent pools and increasing the quality and diversity of hires into an organisation.
