The team

As Deliveroo continues to scale, we become a major revenue channel for restaurants - aside from providing best-in-class support, we are restaurant consultants that use data-driven insight and industry knowledge to help our partner restaurants’ grow. Our Account Management team owns and manages restaurant relationships. We are restaurant consultants who use data-driven analytics and industry knowledge to provide best-in-class support and strategic value to our restaurant partners. The Account Managers are a passionate, dynamic group of team players who work well together and cross-functionally with other departments, and of course, they’re fun, personable, and great at building exceptional relationships.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of partners, comprising both independents and multi-site brands. You will maintain and grow relationships with these partners
  • Lead the delivery agenda with your partners to ensure they are operating with excellent fundamentals, and define and execute joint initiatives that drive sustainable growth for both Deliveroo and your partners
  • Lead the day-to-day management of your accounts, interacting primarily with stakeholders who manage daily projects or operations. You will work on negotiations and longer-term account plans in collaboration with your Restaurant Partner
  • Demonstrate the ability to resolve day-to-day issues and problem-solve independently, seeking advice for more complex problems when necessary.
  • Driving restaurant performance through data analysis and industry knowledge to maximise order volume and growth potential through Deliveroo
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments (Marketing, Operations) to drive new initiatives.

What skills you'll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in a commercial account managerial role in a fast-paced industry 
  • Strong data-driven approach, analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret data to drive growth and profitability, both for your partners and for Deliveroo
  • Well-organised with excellent team-player qualities
  • Agile and highly adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
  • Effective relationship-building and communication skills 
  • Strong knowledge of the restaurant industry is a plus
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is a MUST
