The Role and Team you will be a part of: 

As the Assistant Manager - CRM Marketing for Deliveroo Singapore, you’ll get a chance to be the main voice behind the consumer-facing marketing communications to support the local marketing team. You will be in charge of strategizing, planning and executing the local marketing CRM (eDM, push notifications, in-app comms, etc.) that ultimately leads to increased engagement and overall increased value to both the customer and Deliveroo. 

You will work in the Local Marketing team as well as closely with the Commercial team to support the day to day marketing communications through CRM, including but not limited to offers on Deliveroo as well as numerous marketing campaigns of Deliveroo. You will also get a chance to work closely with the Global CRM team, to incorporate the global initiatives to ensure that customers receive a consistent, coherent experience across all areas of CRM channels, campaigns and initiatives.

You’ll consistently put the customer at the center of your decision making and campaign execution. You'll be the kind of person who can’t wait to look at your metrics soon after a send, and you'll get excited about new ideas, new channels and new campaigns. You'll work well with others and arrive at kick-off meetings for a new campaign full of ideas, based on what we've learnt through data and your own inspiration. Based in Singapore with the Local Marketing team, this role reports to the Head of Marketing and works closely with the peers in the local marketing team. 

 

About The Marketing Team:

We develop the consumer marketing strategy for how Deliveroo wins at an island-wide and hyper-local level. This includes identifying target audiences, and commercial and consumer insights to develop engaging promotions and marketing strategies across Singapore.

We are a small team with a large impact. We move fast, and we’re always looking for new ideas to grow our business in Singapore. We advocate for a test and learn culture to understand how we can best achieve our goals. We work closely and directly with our global team based in London, which will give you the opportunity to gain exposure to working in a global way while driving growth fast locally. 

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Primary owner of all Owned Channel Content across CRM (push notifications and eDM), in-APP (banners and other touch points in the app, supporting platform campaigns, partner campaigns and any other strategic brand communications that may be required.    
  • Work with Senior Marketing Manager to strategize, plan and support the campaigns with CRM contents to deliver brand contents that stand out from competitors and effectively supports in attracting customers to purchase.
  • Develop effective content and test-and-learn plans to optimize Owned Channel performance (e.g. improve open rates/ conversion rates/ opt-in rates/ social engagement rates etc.) 
  • Support with data targeting, segmentation & analysis - pulling it, manipulating it and interpreting it to effectively and strategically target customers with personalized contents
  • Conduct post campaign reporting, pulling out the most interesting lessons and using these to guide your future ideas.

 

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Marketing or Business preferred) 
  • 3-5 years experience in directly managing CRM, preferably with Braze 
  • Intermediate to advanced-level understanding of HTML & CSS
  • Strong technical skills in data management (Looker experience preferred), segmentation, and automation (Braze experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in analyzing campaign performance metrics and providing actionable insights
  • Experience of working with cross-functional teams
  • Strategic and creative thinker passionate about marketing communications
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
