The Local Growth Marketing Manager for London will sit within the Local Activation Team. The team develops the strategy for how Deliveroo wins at a local and hyper-local level. This includes identifying target audiences, commercial insights and consumer insights to develop engaging messaging across key cities.

The team utilises these insights to develop local campaign toolkits, which they then use in key cities and neighbourhoods to unblock consumer barriers and win market share.

Within the team there is the Head of Local Activation that is supported by the Senior Local Activation Manager in leading the strategy and Associates that will deliver activity in their regions and cities.

The role

You will be London-specific and will report directly into the Senior Local Activation Manager (SLAM) for London. You will work with the London Growth Manager/Director to evaluate the commercial needs and hyperlocal opportunities within the city, developing strategies for how to win.

You will identify which marketing levers need to be pulled (eg. Awareness of selection, Occasions, or New Missions such as grocery ) and develop Demand Generation calendar that supports this. You will work cross-functionally with the SLAM to align partners within the Marketing and Commercial teams, before working towards these plans.

You will develop a variety of consumer-focused campaigns from consumer-focused, insight led campaigns across the full channel mix. Also, they will develop briefs for approval by the Head of Local Activation and the SLAMs

To implement these plans, you will hyperlocalise templated campaigns and work with partners both internally (UK Marketing Team, Global Marketing Channel owners, Global Design Studio, Commercial, Finance, Operations, Legal) and externally to implement across the marketing mix (media owners / local activation agencies).

You will deliver campaigns on-budget, optimising activity throughout and conducting a full Post Campaign Review.

Also, you will present insights across the Local Activation team, wider Marketing team and London Growth team, demonstrating the positive impact of hyperlocal activity whilst elevating the team profile.

Requirements

  • 4+ year experience marketing or agency experience implementing targeted, insight-driven marketing campaigns to meet commercial goals
  • You will have experience analysing data sets to evaluate campaigns and provide future recommendations.
  • You're experienced at planning, organising and implementing simultaneous projects at once
  • You have experience managing multiple partners, particularly commercial stakeholders, and enjoy presenting your ideas
  • You are comfortable with a fast-changing workplace
  • You have a track record in making an impact
