We’re looking for a passionate and experienced global loyalty leader to shape the future of Deliveroo’s consumer loyalty strategy.  As Senior Manager, Loyalty Strategy and Proposition, you’ll be responsible for developing our loyalty strategy, launching propositions that drive long term customer value and determining how to engage, grow and retain our existing customers so that Deliveroo is always their go to brand.

You’ll need to be able to step into the shoes of our target customers to understand what really matters and will be skilled in developing marketable propositions that drive emotional loyalty and long term customer value.  Being able to size and prioritise loyalty opportunities to achieve short and long term customer and P&L outcomes will be critical.  It’s a fast paced, data driven and highly cross functional business, so you’ll need to be creative in your approach, commercially savvy and highly collaborative.

What you’ll be doing

Lead the creation of, alignment behind and delivery of our future consumer loyalty strategy, including the north star vision and roadmap to get there

  • Deeply understand our target audience and the drivers of emotional and long term loyalty
  • Define how we should segment our customer base and be the driving force behind how it’s used throughout the business
  • Manage the development of future loyalty propositions (being creative in how we can both package existing benefits and experiences, as well as developing new ones), in partnership with our Product team
  • Implement customer cohort monitoring, lead on defining customer segment strategies and determining the most effective levers to drive customer engagement, in partnership with consumer, marketing, product and local market teams across the business
  • Provide thought leadership on how we track and measure customer loyalty, applying a test and learn approach that enables us to understand success against customer and business metrics
  • In partnership with Finance and Data Science, take ownership of modelling the return on investment of loyalty initiatives, understanding the impact on the P&L and managing within financial guardrails
  • Continual improvement of the economics of our loyalty investment, including how we monetise our customer base
  • Understand the competitor landscape and be the subject matter expert in best in class loyalty programs

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience, ideally in high growth consumer facing organisations
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Marketing professional with loyalty strategy, proposition and customer engagement experience
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of P&L levers
  • Experience working in matrixed organisations, ideally global
  • Experience working with Product and insight teams
  • Skilled in leading complex, cross functional projects
  • Strong communicator, practised in storytelling
