As the scale and complexity of Deliveroo grows, we’re looking for a passionate and intellectually curious Pricing Analyst to join our expanding Pricing team. We are a small team, with very large impact, seeking to answer some of the most interesting questions out there around how to monetize our business while improving our value for money perception. Consumer pricing is right at the heart of the strategic direction of our global business - and you will not only have the opportunity to own projects end-to-end but regularly collaborate across multiple functions.

Key to this expansion is an immediate need for an Analyst to support the Pricing Team. We need somebody who can hit the ground running; a self-starter who is comfortable in creating action-oriented insights and supporting cross functional collaboration to reach performance targets and would relish the opportunity to build trust in our data across the business. 

You will be an integral part of our Pricing squad, a cross-functional team composed of pricing business owners, product managers, engineers and data scientists who jointly set their objectives and work together to achieve them. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Scorecard management - build and maintain robust KPIs, support target setting, but dashboards to track them and monitoring on a regular basis
  • Reporting function - gather requirements and build trusted data sets to be used in Pricing decisions and experimentation
  • Stakeholder engagement - oversee interactions around pricing performance and work with Data Science, Product and other teams
  • Planning - support the monthly and quarterly planning and reporting cycles, conduct root cause analysis

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven experience analysing, interpreting, and summarising complex data
  • Proven track record of creating strong, collaborative relationships with pricing, commercial or marketing teams
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • Experience of data extraction, manipulation and visualisation tools, e.g. Snowflake, Excel/Google Sheets and Looker
  • Good working knowledge of SQL
  • A proactive, can-do attitude, full of great ideas 
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams
