As the scale and complexity of Deliveroo grows, we’re looking for an experienced and organised Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join us on a 12 month FTC. Working as part of the Marketing Operations squad in the B2B Marketing team, you will play an invaluable role in supporting the technical execution of CRM campaigns and programmes, reporting directly to the Head of B2B Marketing Operations.

You will be working closely with the B2B Program Management team who is responsible for the global strategy of lifecycle automated journeys and planned marketing campaigns, as well as working closely with the Partner Onboarding team for support with systems, tools and processes that are central to the effective running of B2B Marketing’s CRM activity.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Act as a technical expert on Salesforce Marketing Cloud to serve the needs of B2B Marketing planned campaigns and lifecycle programmes
  • Develop technical documentation around planned campaigns and lifecycle programme execution
  • Oversee campaign managers and provide technical and process guidance to ensure campaigns in Marketing Cloud meet standard process and quality standards
  • Design and implement automated email/mobile journeys using Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder and CloudPages
  • Input towards the product roadmap by providing recommendations of unused features within Marketing Cloud which could be leverage
  • Monitoring inbound data processes and maintenance updates in our CRM marketing platforms to ensure lifecycle automated programs and campaigns are deployed as expected



  • Must have expert knowledge of Marketing Cloud, good understanding of Sales Cloud, and experience in using Marketing Cloud Connect. Not required, but desirable to have worked on solutions using the Marketing Cloud API
  • Must have a strong background in SFMC programming languages: AMPScript, HTML, CSS, SQL. Not required, but desirable to also be able to work with SSJS and/or JavaScript
  • Demonstrable experience in working with databases, data analysis and segmentation
  • Experience in reporting and analysing email activity using Email Studio reports and Journey Builder
  • Track record for delivering marketing automation projects in a fast-paced environment, and able to successfully keep to deadlines
  • Advantage to have proficiency in our tool stack: Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, Slack
  • Experience of working with agile methodologies in project management
  • Previous experience in stakeholder management across various organisational levels


Nice to have

  • Worked with Salesforce Pardot or similar B2B marketing automation and lead generation tool
