Recruitment Coordination Team Lead

We are looking for a new leader for our growing Recruitment Coordination team to help us pave the path for exciting plans in 2022 and beyond. Reporting into the Global Recruitment Coordination Manager, you will be leading a team of recruitment coordinators in EMEA and APAC, responsible for supporting candidates throughout the recruitment process and delivering outstanding hiring experience for our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading a team of high performers. Hire, lead and develop a team of Recruitment Coordinators in EMEA and APAC (team of 10 direct reports). Set clear goals for the team and ensure accountability and ownership. Ensure coordinators are providing outstanding candidate experience and effectively partner with our stakeholders. Engage, inspire, and motivate the team to continuously develop and make an impact in the company.

Building scalable, delightful processes. Contribute to design, implementation and optimisation of the processes, programs, and tools across interviewing and candidate assessment to create an outstanding hiring experience that’s efficient and runs at scale.

Influencing with data. Deploy forecasting, reporting and analytics rigor to track key recruiting coordination metrics and measure progress, identify areas of opportunity and share insights with our stakeholders. Effectively manage coordination activity workflow and workload balancing across the team.

Developing strategy and driving execution. Partner with peers in recruitment team to plan and develop short- and long-term strategy for coordination team and execute on the hiring goals. Contribute to successful delivery of the global talent acquisition roadmap

Driving a high-performance hiring culture. Champion and role-model Deliveroo’s values and drive a positive and progressive hiring culture throughout the company that achieves and maintains a high bar for talent and is renowned for an outstanding hiring experience. 

Celebrating difference. Contribute to ensuring Deliveroo’s diversity and inclusion values and goals are embedded throughout the talent acquisition strategy.

What we’re looking for:

People management experience with the ability to lead, mentor, and support high performing team.

At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a recruiting, people operations or similar operations-focused context.

Strong written and oral communication skills, with an eye for detail and a passion for presenting data and complex information in simplified ways for multiple audiences.

A proven ability to design, communicate and optimise on processes and programs withing recruiting or similar environment.

Track record of leveraging and leading with data; experience translating data and analytics to develop insights, drive decisions and measure impact. 

Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels.

Experience using recruiting and people systems.
