Deliveroo’s Global Brand & Country Marketing Team is looking for a Brand Marketing Analytics Senior Manager. This role sits within the Global Brand & Country Marketing Team and will report directly to the Director of Country Marketing. 

The Country Marketing Team is responsible for setting the strategic guidelines and frameworks for brand marketing tactics globally across our 11 markets, and supporting our journey to make our brand marketing activities more measurably effective. We partner closely with the wider Consumer organisation, and are the lead interface between HQ and on-the-ground country marketing teams. 

The desired candidate will be a senior manager with hands-on experience in consumer and marketing data analytics. You are able to manipulate, analyse and visualise data from various sources to come up with answers to key business questions and strategic recommendations for the business. This may include for example defining big bets and customer funnel opportunities by country or recommending the best marketing tactics based on what we have learned from data. With your work, you will empower our business and marketing leaders to make better customer driven decisions and improve the ROI of our marketing spend.


What you'll be doing: 

  • Building and maintaining data driven analytics for the Brand & Country Marketing Team to optimise strategy and ROI across global and local brand marketing activities and campaigns. 
  • Collect market level data from multiple sources and interpret key metrics across TV, Print, radio, OOH and online marketing campaigns. 
  • Perform deep-dives on key business questions and uncover trends and correlations to develop insights for the business 
  • Design, develop and establish KPIs, set goals, and implement reporting to track progress
  • Identify opportunities for automation across data streams 
  • Compiling data, data sets and data models to enable yearly budget planning and forecasting. 
  • Present data and insights to cross-functional partners and senior business stakeholders, such as Country GMs and Heads of Marketing. 


About You:

The role requires a strategic marketing mindset and strong analytical and data manipulation skills:

  •  Experience working in marketing data analytics or business intelligence space
  • Understanding of marketing strategy and marketing measurement approaches 
  • Hands on experience in data mining & manipulation using SQL, BI data tools etc. 
  • Track record of driving business change through compelling use of data: Ability to present and visualise data, and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations, that are presented to director and VP level stakeholders
  • Experience in analysing marketing spend and effectiveness across a variety of verticals 
  • Knowledge in budgeting, forecasting and modelling
  • Customer obsessed
  • Ability to think big as well as execute on the finer details
  • Relationship builder across teams and functions
  • Experience in working in matrix organisations and partnering cross-functionally
  • Comfortable with fast-changing organisations - you are resilient and welcome change
  • Experience in markets around Europe, Middle East and Asia is a plus
