The Team

The U.K. & Ireland are Deliveroo’s domestic and most mature markets. Functions include commercial, operations and marketing, and teams in the UK&I partner closely with global functions such as product, technology and consumer to deliver results for our customers.

Ireland is an important and exciting market for Deliveroo. The region spans the entire island of Ireland, with strong established operations in Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford. Across Ireland we support a thriving and diverse restaurant scene - a mixture of some of the best known global brands alongside some of the country’s most exciting homegrown concepts. 


The Role

You will be responsible for the performance and growth of Deliveroo in your designated region - Belfast, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford and new expansion areas. You will be commercially focused, growing our portfolio of restaurant partners within your region and leading a team that is focused on helping these businesses to grow on our platform. Your team of Account Managers and Field Sales will focus on key geographic priorities derived from your growth strategy. You will also establish trusted relationships with the top accounts within your region, with the aim of delivering growth for these partners and for Deliveroo.   

You will also work cross-functionally with London-based operations, marketing and product teams to ensure local success across consumer, restaurant and delivery metrics. 

Ultimately, you are the voice of your region. It is your responsibility to understand every detail of how your area is performing and to develop and execute plans that utilise available resources in order to maximise growth for your region. 


What you’ll be doing

  • Owning and delivering the strategy for your region - Belfast, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford and new city expansion
  • Working closely with the Regional Director and Regional Manager for Dublin as a key member of the Irish leadership team
  • Setting, tracking and delivering on regional performance and growth targets
  • Managing account management and field sales teams to deliver against the regional strategy
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key restaurant partners - including leading key negotiations directly
  • Working with marketing to accelerate growth


We are looking for someone who: 

  • Has 5+ years experience in commercial and management roles
  • Has a deep desire to solve real world problems, who sees the beauty of data and structure and how important these are to understanding a problem and identifying effective solutions
  • Is willing to travel up to 30% of the time around the region



  • Strong business acumen with ability to simplify complex problems 
  • Proven mix of strategy and execution experience
  • Proven track record of leading commercial negotiations
  • Self-starter, hard worker and well organised 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others
  • Solid Excel and modelling skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Driver’s Licence
  • Helpful: relevant domain expertise, for example growth startups, online marketplaces or hyperlocal businesses. A strong understanding of the Northern Ireland consumer and restaurant market or is Belfast based.
