Insight Manager - Consumer Propositions

We’re looking for an Insight Manager - Consumer Propositions to join the Research & Insight team in our London HQ. You’ll be joining a growing team who are passionate about making sure the customer’s voice is heard and delivering a meaningful impact across Deliveroo. We like to have fun and are creative in how we listen and disseminate insight across Deliveroo. Based in Deliveroo’s Consumer org, this role will use consumer insight to help us launch discreet propositions and improve our existing ones. 

They will partner with stakeholders to advise on how consumers are likely to respond to developing opportunities (such as loyalty programmes, sustainability initiatives, or new product features). They will also share the consumer’s perspective on how we can tighten up our current propositions (such as on-demand grocery, Editions, or Deliveroo Plus).

This role is also critical in helping the business understand wider category trends and competitor initiatives within food delivery, grocery, and beyond. 


  • Proactively identify opportunities to embed consumer insight with stakeholder teams 
  • Educate cross-functionally to help stakeholders understand how to grow, improve, and launch our consumer propositions
  • Test new ideas and opportunities with consumers to support development ahead of launch, and help us to decide which to deprioritise
  • Educate the business on consumer perceptions of existing propositions and advise on how to improve these
  • Proactively keep stakeholders informed of wider category trends and competitor initiatives


  • A solid grasp of the full spectrum of mixed method consumer research, both quant and qual
  • Strong skills with BI tools, such as Looker, Tableau, or Oracle
  • Experience with international consumer research
  • Experience managing multiples projects, agencies, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Data literate, with a strong understanding of how to tell the story that sits behind the data
  • Resourceful, action and detail-oriented, with a high ownership mindset to deliver measurable impact
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work to changing time and resource constraints
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus among multiple stakeholders in an entrepreneurial, high-expectation environment
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders to drive positive change for customers
