The Role

Deliveroo’s Information Systems teams are currently running numerous change projects globally to support the rapid growth of the company and we’re seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to support the Salesforce Team and its projects. 

Responsibilities

Business Analysts are sometimes thought of as ‘the bridge’ between the troubles within a firm and the answers to fixing them. And when you look at their vital role and job description, it’s easy to see why they’d have this reputation. The Salesforce Business Analyst is a Consultant position within Deliveroo’s Information Systems Team, responsible for analysing and assessing business needs in order to develop comprehensive road-maps and business cases. The Salesforce BA understands the business needs, animates workshops and develops supporting documentation to support and inform users.  

Other duties include but are not limited to:

  • To understand quickly the existing business processes by analysing existing Information Systems technology capability and functionality 
  • To gather internal stakeholder business requirements and recommend applicable approaches defining the business needs and recommended solutions
  • Manage functional non-functional team requirements
  • Create process models (AS-IS and to be)
  • Create and present reports/findings, business cases.
  • Assist with the configuration and administration of salesforce.com
  • Produce and deliver conceptual and functional analysis for data and process models

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Msc in Management Information Systems, Accounting, or Business Strategy.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com , ERP solutions and CRM software
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • BCS Business Analysis certification
  • Proven experience of working within an Agile project environment/scrum master using tools such as JIRA. 
  • Knowledge of change management best practices
  • Demonstrable experience in Business Analysis within a Consulting firm or Software provider.
  • Proven experience of successfully delivering Business & Systems Analysis within Salesforce.
  • An excellent understanding of common industry-standard business practices as related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Invoicing), Salesforce Management (Opportunity, Proposal, Sales Orders, Forecasting, territory management and Quotas), Inventory Management (Purchasing and Fulfillment) as well as support (Cases Management and Territory Management).
  • Excellent client management skills and the ability to work with customers to develop and manage an implementation plan.
  • Experience with software in an ASP/SaaS environment is a plus as is any experience with financial accounting, customer management and Salesforce automation software.
