THE ROLE

The Operations function is at the heart of the business – we ensure a seamless delivery service for customers, from start to finish. The Operations function also leads our internal logistics function which caters to our 3500+ restaurants (and still expanding) across Hong Kong. 

You are responsible for executing the strategic and tactical approach to growing our fleet. You will run onboarding sessions, answer any inbound queries from prospective riders and manage our rider kit logistics function. You will work with the wider operations team to help ensure our delivery function is running as efficiently as possible.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing each component of our onboarding process – ensure we have enough applicants, onboarding sessions run seamlessly, and supply matches demand

  • Understanding the operational, legal and competitive landscape –  have a proactive mentality and understand we need to constantly evolve and innovate to respond to needs

  • Providing exceptional customer service to prospective riders – ensure prospective riders have all the support that they need to get on the road

  • Continuously identifying opportunities for improvement – e.g. optimizing flow of rider application to onboarding process, reviewing efficiency in onboarding teams, and re-designing our approach to attracting new riders

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strategic Thinking – able to think big picture as well as execute ‘on-the-fly’ by understanding the dynamics of the business

  • Customer Centricity - our riders are our customers. You always look at every process from the customer’s perspective, constantly searching for ways to improve the customer experience

  • Effective communicator - outstanding interpersonal and business skills.  Able to quickly establish gravitas and credibility with a range of stakeholders.

  • Track record of ‘getting things done’ - operational knowledge of the business and how it works today.  Know when you have enough insight to make-a-call and apply the 80 / 20 rule - rapid, high-quality decisions.
