When you first think about Deliveroo, you probably think of getting great food to your house in less than half an hour.  Awesome right? But behind the scenes is the real story. This story is one of high growth, huge challenges and an enormous opportunity ahead of us. It began with our founder Will, arriving in London over 5 years ago and finding it almost impossible to order great food, despite the wealth of incredible restaurants in the city.  Fast forward 5 years and we operate in 14 countries with over 50,000 riders who deliver orders from 50,000 restaurants in over 200 cities worldwide.

We’re looking for someone to join our UAE team as a product photographer. We are looking for someone with product photography experience who is a keen foodie with a flair for food styling. You will be taking pictures of great food in a studio setting, using our in-house Canon Mark III. We would like someone who enjoys a fast paced work environment and thrives under pressure.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Photograph hero images and menu items from all our UAE partners
  • Edit and process all images ready for upload to our platform
  • Add processed images to Deliveroo’s in-house archive
  • Run a shoot schedule to ensure partners go live with images
  • Keep track of shoots
  • Manage and maintain the in-house equipment to an excellent standard

Key Skills

  • Technical photography skills
  • Archive/store photographic images and maintain database
  • General understanding of Marketing and Commercial departments
  • Good knowledge of how to prepare and research a shoot
  • Administrative work, invoicing, scheduling
  • Consult with restaurant and Deliveroo team on subject to shoot, goals, location and equipment needs

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven ability to shoot high volumes of images
  • Excellent studio lighting skills
  • Good knowledge of Lightroom, Photoshop and live capture
  • Interest in food photography
  • A self-starter with initiative and an eye for detail
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment and ability to multitask
  • Well organised
