About the role

We’re looking for a Global Supply Strategy Associate to join our Global Operations team. This role will play a major part in defining our rider growth strategies for all 13 countries, including coordinating strategic decisions across our rider acquisition channels, working with Planning and Performance to ensure we are targeting the right number of riders and the right spend allocation, and working with our data science teams to help execute the experiments and tests that will drive our decision making forward.

You will work closely with Local Operations, Finance, Product, Performance Marketing, Comms, PR, Legal and Business Intelligence teams to improve our ability to match supply with demand in over 250 cities worldwide. This role requires an individual who can combine a strategic growth vision with a strong mind for general business strategy and execution.


Responsibilities

Build new rider growth levers - help define and test new levers for rider growth across all our markets

Using analytics to improve process - to ensure we achieve supply targets in every market, you’ll need to carefully analyse performance across channels, determine what is working and why, and advise alternative strategies where it’s not

Supply planning - work closely with the local markets to ensure that the central tools and strategies we are building are meeting the needs of the market

Support local markets on making increasingly data-driven decisions – provide analytical support to local markets on selected projects and develop frameworks to ensure strategic objectives are met

Campaign management and execution - communicate and execute growth campaigns across the rider lifecycle, from new rider activation all the way through to engaging existing riders before churning

Effective communicator - outstanding interpersonal and business skills. Able to quickly establish gravitas and credibility with a range of stakeholders.

Track record of ‘getting shit done’ - operational knowledge of the business and how it works today. Know when you have enough insight to make-a-call and apply the 80 / 20 rule – rapid high-quality decisions.

Adaptable Fixer - enthusiastic, flexible & adaptable with the ability to remove barriers & bottlenecks via facilitation, creativity & resourcefulness. Don’t slavishly follow processes if they aren’t right.

Can build “stuff” - approaches, processes, tools and structured change methodologies.

Inquisitive - infectiously curious, thoughtful and happy to question the status-quo.

Project Management – know the basics of managing multiple projects in a structured and logical way.

 

Requirements

3+ years experience with a preferred background in consultancy / investment banking / fast-growing companies

Strong analytical mind set

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Has fun and enjoys working in a collaborative environment
