We’re seeking a visionary Director of DevOps to lead our DevOps, DBA, and NOC teams, driving operational excellence and enabling scalability across our platforms.

How You’ll Make an Impact?
- Strategic Leadership:
-By developing and implementing a comprehensive DevOps and infrastructure strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and long-term business objectives.
-Champion the "you build it, you own it" philosophy by enabling self-sufficient, multidisciplinary squads to take end-to-end ownership of their services.
- Operational Excellence:
-By leading and mentoring a high-performing team of DevOps engineers, database administrators (DBAs), and Network Operations Center (NOC) professionals, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
-You will also define and track KPIs to measure the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring operational performance aligns with business needs.
-By driving initiatives, you will identify and address bottlenecks, incidents, and performance challenges across infrastructure and applications.
- Infrastructure Management:
-Architect and maintain secure, scalable, and high-availability infrastructure platforms using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Google Cloud.
-Ensure the successful implementation of CI/CD pipelines, automating build, test, and deployment processes for rapid and reliable software releases.
-Collaborate with IT and InfoSec teams to embed security into every layer of infrastructure and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaboration & Innovation:
-Partner with engineering leaders to integrate DevOps practices into Agile development cycles, enabling seamless cross-functional collaboration.
-Identify and implement automation opportunities that improve efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and enhance system reliability.
- Resilience & Risk Management:
-Establish and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes, minimizing downtime and ensuring rapid issue resolution.
-Optimize cost and resource utilization across cloud and on-premise environments.
Who You Are:
- Experienced Leader with a proven track record of managing and scaling DevOps, DBA, or NOC teams in a high-growth environment.
- Technical Expert with In-depth experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), and cloud platforms (Google Cloud or similar).
- Problem Solver who has exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with a systematic approach to resolving complex technical issues.
- Innovator with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, enabling rapid iteration and deployment while maintaining operational stability.
- Familiarity with integrating security best practices into infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Collaborative Communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and translating technical concepts into actionable strategies for stakeholders.
Bonus Points:
- Previous experience in the iGaming or sports betting industry.
- Proficiency in additional programming languages, tools, or frameworks.
- A proven track record of driving cultural change in engineering teams to embrace automation, ownership, and continuous learning.
