YOUR ROLE:
As a Network Operations Specialist, you will assist in providing 24-hour continuous support and monitoring to ensure an uninterrupted flow of all data and services.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively monitor and support the application stack to ensure 24X7 operation
- Respond to alerts/alarms according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Manage our ticketing system ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Work with internal and external groups during routine deployment
- Collaborate with internal and external groups to help identify and resolve issues affecting our services
- Develop and maintain NOC policies, procedures, and tools
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluency in English
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1+ years of experience as a technical support, or NOC team member
- Ability to work in a 24X7 shift rotation
- Prior experience with monitoring tools, such as: Grafana, Site24x7, Nagios, Munin or other
- Basic knowledge of internet protocols
- Basic Linux OS knowledge and experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be self-motivated and willing to learn
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
