THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Head of Legal to lead our legal operations within the Group. The successful candidate will manage both our internal legal team and external legal resources, in several countries, while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements while supporting the strategic goals of our business in the gaming industry.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership and Management:

- Oversee all legal affairs within the Group (internally and externally) .
- Manage the internal legal team and coordinate with legal teams abroad or outsourced resources.
- Legal Advisory:
- Provide expert legal advice and guidelines on all relevant aspects of the gaming business.
- Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program to ensure adherence to gaming laws and regulations.
- Due Diligence and Compliance:
- Conduct due diligence checks before engaging with third parties.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with third parties to ensure compliance with business needs.
- Draft and revise company policies to align with legal and regulatory requirements specific to the gaming industry.
- Implement and maintain an organized document management system.
- Audit and Risk Management:
- Proactively audit internal and external processes, practices, and documents to identify and address potential weaknesses.
- Assist in legal processes, including obtaining and reviewing third-party documents and ensuring proper authorization and signing of documents.
- Collaborate with external parties such as auditors and management companies as needed.
- Crisis and Compliance Management:
- Develop plans to manage crises or compliance violations effectively.
- Educate and train employees on relevant gaming regulations and industry practices.
- Stay updated on internal standards and business goals to ensure alignment with legal strategies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Educational Background:
- Relevant degree in law.
- Professional Experience:
- 7-10 years of proven experience in a similar role, within the gaming industry
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a legal team effectively.
- Skills:
- Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
- In-depth knowledge of gaming laws and regulations.
