Responsibilities:
1. Own Spend analytics- “Eliminate” Advent spend cube expense of $6k annually to offset cost 2. Role will collaborate with AP in COE; manage all Purchase Order tasks and manage vendor onboarding with Accounts Payable
3. Role will also support G2 track data integrity and oversight
4. Support Purchase Request volumes, risk engagements, RFP support and data analytics - business education and support.
Data Analysis
• The role will be to own, develop, and manage spend reporting and analytics.
• Collect, maintain, and report on team, departmental and organizational metrics.
• Report, write, and document operating procedures.
• Identify ways to streamline and improve internal and external processes, metrics, and reporting.
Purchase Order Oversight
• Administer purchase orders in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Resolve issues with vendors – e.g., pricing differences, missing PO – in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure contracts, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and payments are transacted efficiently and effectively.
• Articulate purchasing policies and procedures to end users and provide education to reinforce compliance with purchasing practices
Sourcing & Contracting
• Develop, execute, evaluate Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) as necessary in support of company objectives.
• Manage contract data in database to ensure a simplified purchasing process.
• Using robust analytics, identify sourcing opportunities and process improvements which will benefit the Company.
General Skills and Knowledge:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 2-5 years' experience in a sourcing and procurement profession.
• Candidates must be strong in data analytics and familiar with IT systems and BI tools and be able to interpret data, create visualizations, draw conclusions, and produce insight reports.
• Understanding of Procure-to-Pay principles, processes, and procedures.
• Experience evaluating vendor bids, negotiating pricing and other contractual terms.
• Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects).
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence others.
