As a Product Marketing Manager at Google DeepMind (GDM), you will be responsible for managing product marketing and go-to-market (GTM) efforts for our models and prototypes. You will play an integral role in defining our research & development GTM for the GDM portfolio, working collaboratively with GDM product marketing, creative and comms teams and Google to execute a comprehensive marketing plan.

The Role
You’ll work closely with GDM Marcomms to define the product marketing strategy including naming, positioning, messaging, branding, and overall narrative for different GDM models and prototypes. You’ll partner with researchers and product teams to understand the product roadmaps and define hero use cases. You’ll collaborate with broader Google marketing teams to develop and deliver a comprehensive GTM plan that includes 1P product integrations, key moments, strategic partnerships and marketing material.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the product marketing and GTM strategy and plans for GDM models and prototypes that aligns with product roadmap
- Collaborate closely with GDM research and product teams on model-to-product roadmaps, GTM approach and ensure xGoogle alignment
- Execute a drumbeat of model and prototype launches throughout the year and deliver GDM’s narrative and presence at I/O, NEXT and other marquee Google moments
- Work with a team of internal and external creative strategists, content producers and agency resources to develop demos and other supporting marketing materials like blog posts, social media assets and executive presentations, ensuring all assets are delivered on-time, on-brand and in-budget
About You
In order to set you up for success as a Product Marketing Manager at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record of success in product marketing, strategic consulting or product management
- Experience developing compelling product narratives, building impactful GTM plans and managing highly complex product launches and marketing campaigns
- Previous marketing experience in AI or other emerging technologies is ideal
- Passionate, creative storyteller who is well versed in the AI landscape, keeping up with the latest AI trends
- Proven track record of delivering impactful stories, product messaging and positioning, and scaled launches in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Successful at working collaboratively across highly technical teams including researchers, engineers and product managers across multiple time zones
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $159,000 - $252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
