People Operations Associate will support the rapidly growing team at DeepIntent by administering key HR-related processes and procedures. These include employee onboarding and offboarding, HR data maintenance, reporting and compliance, immigration, benefits administration, and much more. Through a consultative approach, you will become a trusted partner and advocate for our employees and play an important role in establishing the culture and employee experience at DeepIntent.

The People Operations Associate will report to the People Operations Lead based in our Pune, India office. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with hiring activities, which includes ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new employees, hiring employees into our system and coordinating with IT to ensure operational readiness
  • Act as a key point of contact for employees with questions about company policies, process, benefits and other HR related matters
  • Data administration and updates to our core HR systems, such as Greenhouse and Bamboo
  • Assist with reporting requests and other HR metrics
  • Help foster an inclusive community by planning and supporting team events
  • Support all people programs that involve engagement, learning & development, employee experience, and recognition
  • Assist with other ad hoc requests for the People Ops team

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, organizational development or related field is preferred
  • 2+ year experience in a role supporting people operations in a fast paced environment
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage through shifting priorities
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills
  • Proficient with Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite
  • You understand the sensitivity of confidential information and take the necessary steps to ensure the trust and integrity of all HR transactions
  • You recognize each employee has unique needs and work to support them through difficult or stressful situations
  • You have strong EQ (emotional intelligence) and approach each situation with a genuine sense of empathy
  • Strong customer services skills and eagerness to deliver an exceptional experience for our employees  
  • You enjoy looking for new ways to improve a process and create a better experience for employees
  • You feel comfortable delivering and facilitating learning sessions for various groups. You’re creative and always keep an open mind
  • Strong interest in participating in DE&I initiatives to help us build a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all employees 
  • You are eager for exposure to a breadth of people operations and recruiting tasks & responsibilities
  • You have a strong desire to work in a rapidly growing and ever-changing startup
  • You have an excellent sense of multi-tasking and are not afraid to take the initiative 

This position requires in office presence in our Pune, India office.
