What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain employee computer systems and ensure devices and systems are running smoothly to ensure users get the maximum benefit
  • Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
  • Provide in person customer support to employees. Also have ability to provide support via phone and via remote desktop software (helping staff and clients set up systems and resolve issues)
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware and software issues
  • Replace faulty parts as required
  • Support the roll-out of new applications
  • Set up new users' accounts and handle password issues
  • Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
  • Prioritize and manage all open IT cases
  • Establish a good working relationship with employees, clients and 3rd party vendors
  • Test and evaluate new technology
  • Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT Support role
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science
  • Knowledge of how software and operating systems work for PC and Mac computers
  • Experience setting up software and hardware systems while managing a low cost budget
  • Strong communicator, able to work cross functionally with confidence while supporting employees
  • Creative problem solver – able to identify problems related to IT and create solutions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Subject Matter Expert in all IT related matters

This position requires in office presence at our Pune, India office.
