We collect data. A whole load of data from the front end users of websites of some of the world’s biggest brands. That data is expertly processed inside our award-winning SaaS platform to create actionable insights for our clients. Quickly, efficiently, and accurately – it’s pretty cool.
Our developers have built our scalable and maintainable platform through smart and efficient code, in a culture of automation and technical debt minimisation. We have become one of the world leaders in our tech in just a few short years.
We need more smart people to join us – to take a shared responsibility in constantly looking for better ways to improve the infrastructure and deployment process. Within an Agile and highly collaborative environment you will take a shared responsibility in designing and implementing automation solutions including deployment and testing pipelines and infrastructure support services such as monitoring, whilst identifying potential performance bottlenecks and scaling issues.
In this role you will work closely with our Mobile team based in Madrid, supporting the creation and testing of SDKs and Apps, and managing their continuous integrations and deployment pipelines.
Reporting into our Staff DevOps Engineer, Simara, you’ll be based in Spain, able to work remotely and have experienced and knowledgeable in several of the following areas:
- Strong knowledge of iOS and/or Android deployment and testing frameworks like Fastlane, Testflight or other alternatives
- CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, Gitlab
- Knowledge of iOS package managers like CocoaPods, Swift or Xcframeworks
- Deployments to repositories like Bintray, JCenter, Maven Central
- iOS-specific tools: Xcode Commands Tools
- Android-specific tools: Android AVD Manager, Android SDK Manager, Android Studio, Android libraries (.aar)
It’s likely that you’ve already established yourself as a DevOps Engineer in a 24x7 uptime environment using multiple technologies and have a good depth of experience using containers in the development and delivery flows. Ideally you have worked with mobile engineers on delivering mobile Apps and projects.
A few items to mention which would be useful to have in this role are, on the mobile side: Swift, Java Kotlin, unit testing, and on the Devops side: the Hashicorp stack (Terraform, Vagrant, Vault, etc) plus Ansible, Puppet and ELK stack. We work with the cloud so experience with cloud technologies with an emphasis on security would be very handy and we also use both Windows and Linux operating systems
Our DevOps team is small, talented and distributed across multiple sites (London, Madrid and Denver) so help is on hand across the different time zones.
If this sounds like an opportunity fit for you, then come make your mark!
