ABOUT THIS ROLE:

The Major Accounts Program Manager is responsible for managing corporate level relationships with enterprise customers (~100+ dealership groups).  This individual should have a strong focus on relationship and subscription health, project management, program performance, and continually act as an internal liaison to ensure seamless execution of customer initiatives.  The Major Accounts Program Manager interfaces with many internal departments within DI including, but not limited to Performance Management, Support, Production, DigAd, SEO, OEM teams, Managed Services, and Analytics teams.  

Although this role does not have direct reports, this individual will generally be collaborating closely with assigned Performance Managers to ensure the customers objectives are consistently executed.  Because of this, the Program Manager must possess strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to foster a team that continually strives to deliver for their customer.

Functions of the Role:

  • Participate in strategic discussions related to successful long-term program goals
  • Communicate program status and relevant program metrics and observations
  • Conduct and facilitate quarterly business reviews with the client
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and other supporting teams to maximize growth opportunities and service levels
  • Share knowledge through strategic and operational planning sessions and make recommendations on system performance for ongoing improvements
  • Prevent issues before they arise with proactive planning reviews
  • Conduct weekly status meetings and track and follow-up on items
  • Seamlessly integrate efforts with both internal organizations and Third Party Service Providers using a common strategy and methodology
  • Analyze program data using dashboards to provide quick, clear visibility of program status and performance
  • Stay on top of trends in digital marketing, continue growth/knowledge to bring fresh strategy
  • Provide management level presence in meetings with clients
  • Act as first point of escalation for program requests and issues
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of all new products and digital offerings
  • Identify issues and areas to improve process and present along with options to solve them.
  • Advocate/communicate with other departments about bigger issues/blockers and process
  • Automotive experience strongly preferred

Required Skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong skills in problem solving and process orientation
  • Skilled in Project Management
  • Prior Business to Business Experience with Large Dealer Groups or OEMs
  • Build and strengthen relationships with clients and provide insight/guidance related to digital services (and beyond)
  • Outstanding presentation and communication.
  • Must be very organized, punctual and detail oriented
  • Fast learner and interested in new technologies
  • The ability to remain cool under pressure
  • Willingness to embrace the ever-changing digital marketing landscape
