Job Purpose & Summary

Manages and leads the entire OEM program between Dealer Inspire and both the Client (OEM) and the Partner for Digital Advertising.  Program Manager will lead all aspects of the program including implementation, integrations, program requirements, advertising specifications, performance of the program and growth. Responsible for Client and Partner deliverables, timelines, go live goals, and streamlining communication/coordination with the Partner, Client and Dealer Inspire.  This individual will be fully responsible for the success of the program and  accountable for results.  Active Client and Partner engagement and management through monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews supplemented by daily execution of program requirements.   The ideal candidate will have digital advertising planning, execution, and tagging/pixel analytics experience, a deep knowledge of digital advertising platforms and tools including those not currently used by Dealer Inspire, and a proven ability to influence multiple levels of an organization. As a leader, this role will include working with other key members of Senior Management to carry out strategic company initiatives and objectives.

This candidate will also be tasked with FUEL agency partnership responsibilities, including building and growing long-term partner agency relationships to drive revenue growth.


  • Understands the inner workings of digital advertising, dig ad tagging and pixels, FUEL, and the Dealer Inspire platform
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel including creation of pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
  • Google Ads and Google Analytics certified (all categories)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Owner of Digital Advertising program and single point of truth for all aspects of the new OEM program
  • Understanding of internal process, project management stages of the Digital Advertising go live process and campaign management
    • Ability to do or explain most digital advertising requirements to ensure understanding of steps to execution as part of overall process
  • Advertising/Paid Search product expert (platforms, technical integrations, program requirements, cross-tier advertising strategy, ad tagging, etc.)
  • FUEL product expert (external selling points and internal use cases). Work closely with the FUEL development team to drive timeframes, manage resource planning and risk management
  • Develop partner and  OEM relationships to advance growth of the program in dealer participation, product density and revenues.
  • Author and lead OEM pitches, monthly performance reviews, quarterly business reviews, and other initiatives to drive program performance
  • Design and lead client meetings both virtually and in-person as needed
  • Project Management
    • Own relationships and partner with OEM-specific Google teams on initiatives to drive the program’s success
    • Execute project management best practices and detail oriented program development to keep management informed of the program performance
    • Provide direction and leadership to teams who are responsible for implementation of new OEM program requirements including: FUEL Product Owner and development team, Digital Advertising, Client Services, Analytics, Design, and more
    • Manage, execute and measure program performance on a daily basis
    • Create project documentation and interpret OEM requirements, preparing step-by-step action plans for implementation
    • Manage a playbook including all program checklists and lead meetings to successfully deploy new OEM programs for Digital Advertising services
  • Process Building
    • Build and evolve best in class processes for smooth implementation learning from past program experience, and implement new processes to ensure successful transitions into Dealer Inspire
    • Knowledge of internal resource capabilities and priorities and allocation of resources to achieve better efficiency
    • Apply continuous improvement best practices to meet and exceed OEM program SLAs, campaign build turnarounds, and improve client performance
    • Bring together the Digital Advertising team, Program Managers and the necessary team members to reasonably solve conflicts quickly and effectively
  • Proactively provide insights to clients and partner on Digital Advertising performance by program
    • Perform audits on performance and conversion KPIs for clients within each program
    • Perform reporting responsibilities, both ad hoc and monthly
  • Advance individual knowledge of the automotive industry and experience dealing with dealerships to aid in the evolution of the program
  • Understanding of the automotive landscape between Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 and how Digital Advertising touchpoints align
  • Agency account management including, but not limited to: 
    • Maintaining contact lists and relevant records by agency / client in Salesforce
    • Establishing meeting cadence with (internal and external) key stakeholders
    • Partner with Sales to seek out new relationships/contacts
    • Organizing and coordinating agency education initiatives (ie. providing training on OEM program requirements and FUEL)
    • Fulfilling ad hoc agency requests and breaking down obstacles
    • Provide day to day support and Q&A to agency partners for FUEL product and digital advertising services
    • Set up and delegate partner agency requests to digital advertising team through appropriate channels (SF cases) for implementation and follow up with client
    • Serve as an internal voice for the customer to help shape product and marketing roadmaps as a FUEL stakeholder
    • Identify and lead the development of joint business projects and/or beta opportunities with partner agencies
    • Assist in pitches with potential new agency partners and demo FUEL platform
    • Stay up to date on all OEM program requirements and facilitate compliance implementation for partner agencies and dealer groups
