About Dcard BI Team
We're seeking a strategic and collaborative Business Intelligence Team Lead to oversee our BI function and transform complex data into actionable insights that drive Dcard's growth and user engagement. This role combines technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills to bridge the gap between data and business strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing actionable insights that drive growth and operational efficiency.
What you'll do
- Business Intelligence & Analytics Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive data models, dashboards, and analytics solutions that drive actionable insights into user behavior and product performance
- Develop and maintain robust KPI frameworks to measure business performance, providing strategic recommendations to leadership
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of BI infrastructure and tools to enhance data accessibility and visualization capabilities
- Create scalable, self-service analytics solutions that democratize data access across the organization
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Build and mentor high-performing analytics teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
- Drive organizational data literacy through training programs and best practices implementation
- Set and execute the strategic vision for the analytics function, aligning with broader business objectives
- Manage resource allocation and prioritization across multiple concurrent projects
- Champion data-driven decision-making practices across the organization
- Cross-functional Collaboration & Communication:
- Partner with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions
- Work closely with Data Engineering teams to optimize data architecture and implement best practices
- Present complex analytical findings to executive leadership in clear, actionable formats
- Build strong relationships with non-technical teams to understand their data needs and develop user-friendly solutions
- Facilitate cross-departmental initiatives to ensure aligned data strategies and consistent methodologies
What We're Looking For
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics, including leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or related)
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools; working knowledge of Python or R
- Proven track record of fostering data-driven culture and championing analytics initiatives
- Experience in developing and mentoring analytics teams
- Leadership & Business Acumen
- Proven ability to translate complex business objectives into actionable data strategies and solutions
- Strong strategic thinking with demonstrated experience in driving data-driven decision-making
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels

Our Recruiting Process
All processes are expected to be completed within 2-4 weeks, our hiring process is subject to adjustment based on individual circumstances:
- 1st Interview - You’ll have a 30-minute session with one of the HR member, where we would want to get to know more about your experience and background, what you’re passionate about..etc. You’ll also have an interview with the Business Intelligence team members for more discussion related to your experiences and it will also include a case study.
- 2nd Interview - You’ll meet our CEO, People Director, Brand & Insight Director, where we will get to know more about your experience and discuss your expectation in our team.
