Senior Brand Designer
As a Senior Brand Designer, you will play a central role in shaping a standout visual identity for an exciting new product that supports caregivers and their children. From print to packaging to digital product visuals, you will design across multiple touchpoints, creating a seamless and engaging experience for our customers. You will have the chance to define, build, and evolve our design system, bringing the brand to life from the ground up and crafting the details to deliver an exceptional learning experience for children. You will work closely with the Director of Product Design and collaborate with product managers, curriculum specialists, and other teams to make an impact. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, salaried position.
- The full salary range for this position in Seattle, WA, is $129,000 - $212,000 per year. The upper third of the salary range is typically reserved for employees who have been in the role for multiple years and have demonstrated strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by qualifications and prior experience.
- This role includes 15 paid days of vacation, 4 days of paid personal time off, 7 paid days of sick (care) time, 9 paid holidays, 5 paid days off for an organization-wide winter break, and additional time off if required by applicable law. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Eight years of experience in brand, visual, graphic, or communication design
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in typography, color, composition, and user-centered design across multiple mediums (print, packaging, digital, experiential)
- Experience establishing and evolving robust design systems with clear documentation
- Deep understanding of brand strategy and the ability to translate high-level concepts into effective design solutions
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, with experience in art directing photography or illustration
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to work fluently with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, etc.), present design decisions, provide art direction, and incorporate feedback
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated personal commitment to designing products and solutions optimized for people of all kinds, with effective diversity, equity, and inclusion outcomes
- Experience bringing designs to life using motion graphics and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma
- Familiarity with user-centered design principles, UX best practices, and accessibility standards (this includes empathy for users, usability, and involvement in iterative design processes to create inclusive, user-friendly experiences)
- Working knowledge of both mobile and responsive web design principles and best practices, ensuring designs are consistent across devices and screen sizes
- Skills in illustration, photography, or video editing
