Our content creation team is growing! Our content creation team is a unique group who leverage technical skills, writing and editing skills, and a “client services” attitude to deliver exceptional automated content to our clients. As we expand our client roster and content offerings, we’re looking for new team members to join us on our journey to bring the next generation of content automation to Data Skrive clients. We are a team that focuses on solving interesting challenges for our clients while having fun together. You can help build products that drive engagement with sports fans around the world.
Key responsibilities for this role:
- Produce seo-optimized and audience-targeted content that meets client SLAs and quality standards
- Respond to client and internal requests to enhance live content
- Participate in internal research and planning of the editorial approach for new content offerings
Qualifications:
- Writing and/or editing experience and knowledge of narrative structure in sports content
- Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly
- Dedication to ensuring consistent quality across content creation
- Experience with or understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Curious and interested in learning the basics of new programming languages, frameworks, and tools
- Willingness to work with proprietary software that undergoes changes on a regular basis
Ideal Candidates will have the following traits:
- Familiarity with manipulating data and working with data payloads (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.) to create data-driven content
- Ability to synthesize requirements and recommend alternative technical and business approaches to meet aggressive timelines
- A fast learner and a team player – ability to collaborate and also be a self-starter
- Startup mentality – ability to “wear many hats” and identify and pursue solutions with limited guidance
- Be able to identify process/product enhancements in order to optimize content automation
- Experience working remotely in a matrixed environment with distributed teams
- Familiarity or a willingness to learn the basics of sports betting
- Experience working with agile development teams (agile/scrum/Kanban)

The salary for this role is between $60K and $80K. The specific salary offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience. The hired candidate will be eligible for 100% employee paid healthcare benefits, 401K, remote work with a technology stipend, and unlimited PTO. All full-time employees are eligible for additional rewards, such as stock options and any company bonus program that may be offered (typically up to 10%).
