You're a highly motivated student, a self-starter, and problem solver interested in technology and current events.You thrive in a fast paced environment and are eager to learn more about sales at a growing start-up and the corporate security industry. In this role you will assist Dataminr’s sales team in generating demand by producing targeted case studies, reports, and other ad hoc sales projects to support the Corporate Security sales team in our DC office.


  • Assist the DC sales team with creation of customer-facing marketing collateral to enhance the Dataminr brand across the corporate security vertical
  • Collect and analyze research on  global geopolitical issues, natural disasters, criminal activity and transportation disruptions and present findings to the team
  • Various ad-hoc assignments to support sales efforts across our growing DC office

Desired Skills And Experience:

  • Current student pursuing studies in a related field, graduation date of Spring 2020 is preferred
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills with a strong desire to pursue a career in a sales role
  • Experience with research and report-writing
  • Demonstrated interest in breaking News, National Security and/or International Affairs is a must
  • Eager to learn and self motivated
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Ability to work quickly and manage time effectively
