The Opportunity:

DataGrail is looking for a PR Marketing Consultant to help us amplify our brand’s voice and thought leadership by strategically managing media relations, securing high-impact opportunities, and delivering compelling content. Through expert agency management, rapid response execution, and ghostwriting, this role will help elevate DataGrail's presence in the industry. 

75% of the global population is expected to be protected by modern privacy laws by the end of this year—up from just 10% in 2020. With so much happening in the world of data privacy, this role will be crucial in ensuring that DataGrail is positioned as a forward-thinking leader, keeping us at the forefront of prospect and customer conversations. 

We’re looking for a powerful partner with a demonstrated passion for data privacy who will forward a mission that matters: ensuring that privacy is a fundamental human right.

This is a part time contract position. 


What You'll Do:

  • PR Agency Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for our PR agency.
    • Provide strategic direction and ensure alignment with company goals.
    • Manage deliverables, timelines, and agency performance.
  • Rapid Response:
    • Lead rapid response efforts, including preparing statements, talking points, and other materials for media inquiries.
    • Ensure swift and accurate responses to emerging issues or breaking news relevant to DataGrail.
  • Byline Review:
    • Draft, Review and edit byline articles and thought leadership content from internal stakeholders and external partners.
    • Ensure content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and goals.
  • Speaking Engagements & Awards:
    • Research and identify opportunities for speaking engagements and industry awards.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to submit award applications and secure speaking slots at key events.
    • Coordinate logistics and materials for speaking engagements.
  • Ghostwriting:
    • Collaborate with executives and subject matter experts to ghostwrite blogs, articles, and presentations.
    • Ensure consistent tone and voice across all materials.
  • Content:
    • Collect, analyze, and synthesize data for our annual Privacy Trends Report, turning complex privacy insights into actionable recommendations for our buyer personas.
    • Lead the content strategy for DataGrail Summit, including speaker selection, theme and messaging development, and crafting impactful presentation content.

Please note that the compensation range below is a guideline and final compensation will be based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies.
