ABOUT THE ROLE:

We seek a highly motivated Media and Communications intern to be part of the newly formed Media team at DataCamp. You will be joining a creative, empathetic, and driven team responsible for managing and developing high-quality multimedia content and news on data science, artificial intelligence, and technology. In this role, you will wear many hats and be exposed to and own a variety of elements of our media production lifecycle. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce and distribute multimedia short-form high-quality derivative content based on blog posts, long-form videos, podcasts, and more.
  • Support in the logistics and distribution of DataCamp’s online marketing efforts such as webinars, podcasts, and panel discussions. 
  • Manage a large collection of freelance writers, editors, and content producers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate degree in journalism, media, or communications 
  • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience in blog-writing, whether on your own or in a previous work experience
  • Experience working with video or audio editing and production tools
  • Detailed-oriented and highly structured. You love optimizing processes and making them more efficient. 
  • Affinity with data science and artificial intelligence and its applications is a plus
