About the role:

We’re looking for an exceptional marketer to help develop DataCamp’s B2C brand proposition and messaging, manage and coordinate end-to-end campaigns, and own always-on marketing initiatives that drive user acquisition and retention.  

The strongest candidates will have a growth mindset, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment,  and have experience managing marketing campaigns across channels for a digital brand. 

This role reports to the Director of Marketing Strategy and Brand on the B2C team, and will work closely with B2C Marketing channel leads, Copywriting, and Design.

Responsibilities:

  • Share and maintain items on a campaign calendar to achieve company goals
  • Manage and lead end-to-end campaigns, including promotions, product and feature launches, and brand moments
  • Think holistically end to end about the end to end journey of audience sets, from messaging through to landing pages and funnels
  • Coordinate campaign activity and progress across all stakeholders and channels (e.g. paid ads, email/CRM, affiliates, etc.)
  • Hold stand ups, write briefs, track metrics, create visibility and stay on top of things day to day as a key team member helping to shape the outcomes of the B2C business unit
  • Track campaign performance and adjust campaign strategy and execution accordingly in collaboration with senior business stakeholders to hit business outcomes
  • Support the development of B2C marketing playbooks for standard campaigns, strategies or tactics
  • Collaborate with Growth and Retention teams to define marketing strategies, campaign plans, and always-on marketing activities
  • Collaborate with Product team stakeholders to support the adoption of DataCamp products, including Learn, Certification, Talent/Recruit, and Workspace
  • Develop and test product positioning and messaging informed by user research, market and competitive insights, and product understanding
  • Create messaging and user experiences that drive awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Collaborate with copywriters and designers to support B2C marketing campaigns, website pages, and in-product experiences 
  • Work with content teams to produce excellent branded content across our marketing and organic channels that is aligned with our positioning 
  • A brand ambassador that drives consistency and impact across everything we do as a brand and continues to look at areas of improvement and refinement 
  • Consumer focused with the best outcome and experience for the customer always at heart

The ideal candidate:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in marketing, marketing strategy and/or campaign / brand positions management 
  • At least 2 years of experience developing, managing, and facilitating B2C marketing campaigns
  • At least 2 years of experience working in technology, ideally for a SaaS, subscription based, ecommerce or marketplace company
  • Comfortable coordinating across multiple stakeholders and business lines: a people person who loves to communicate and get things done
  • Clear communicator with a structured mindset
  • Exceptional writing skills and prior experience in producing written marketing content
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and work well independently
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Analytical with a reasonable grasp of numbers
  • Passionate about online education, data science, and coding communities
  • Familiarity with data science and data analytics is a plus
