About the Role
As Director of Channel Partnerships, you will be responsible for creating unique and high value partnerships with companies in the data science and consulting ecosystem. These partnerships should ultimately drive revenue for our B2B business but can take many forms at inception and we are looking for an individual that has expertise creating a channel partnerships process from the ground up. Today our partnerships take the form of finding companies with a shared interest in data science education and offering their clients free trials to our world-class online learning platform. We are looking to find more partnerships like this that drive highly qualified leads as well as come up with new partnership models. Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, you will be responsible for building a pipeline of partners, managing the partnerships you create and identifying trends that will help accelerate the growth of DataCamp. The data science field is exploding so you will have a massive territory companies to call on and we are looking for someone that excels at new challenges.
You’re the type of person who:
Has superior written and verbal communication skills
Has 5+ years of Business Development experience
Expertise in SaaS sales and/or Education Technology
Creative problem solving abilities
Has strong interpersonal skills and enjoys talking to new business prospects
Is comfortable presenting in person and over the phone
Is organized, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a quickly changing environment
It’s a plus if:
You have familiarity with the data science field and typical data science workflows
