The Opportunity

 

We are seeking a UX Researcher to join our team during the exciting launch of DatabookGPT, a platform set to revolutionize sales strategies with its advanced, personalized account intelligence. In this role, you will focus on understanding the impact of Generative AI on the sales technology ecosystem. Your research will identify opportunities for DatabookGPT to integrate and enhance sales processes, helping us to strategically position ourselves within the market.

 

Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, you will explore how emerging technologies can be harnessed to deliver significant value to our users and maintain DatabookGPT's competitive edge. Your findings will guide the development of features that support and enhance the productivity of sales professionals. Reporting directly to the Senior Product Manager of DatabookGPT, you will play a crucial role in shaping our strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product and business teams to identify and prioritize research topics.
  • Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research using methods like interviews, usability tests, and surveys to gather actionable insights.
  • Establish a continuous feedback loop with users, directly translating research into product improvements.
  • Perform and document competitive and market analysis to benchmark products and identify industry trends.
  • Develop and implement an efficient system to aggregate and analyze user and customer feedback from various sources, ensuring comprehensive insights across the company.
  • Act as a thought leader in user-centered research, promoting best practices and facilitating workshops on key UX principles (e.g., Accessibility, Usability).
  • Communicate research results effectively to stakeholders across functions, including design, product management, and engineering, ensuring insights are integrated into development processes.
  • Prepare and present concise reports on research findings to support data-driven decision-making within the organization.

About You

As a growing product team focused on the innovative DatabookGPT platform, we are seeking a UX Researcher passionate about the initial stages of product development and adept at tackling challenges in a dynamic environment. This role offers the opportunity to significantly influence product direction, quickly see tangible results from your efforts, and collaborate closely within a dedicated team. Ideal candidates will have:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in user research or a related field, preferably within a tech or SaaS environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage application users, generate enthusiasm, and gain their commitment for in-depth research activities.
  • Experience with enterprise-level product strategy, particularly in creating and scaling user-centric solutions.
  • A keen interest in directly engaging with users to deeply understand their needs and ensure successful deployment of new features.
  • Enthusiasm for startup environments, demonstrating initiative and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Strategic thinking skills to prioritize impactful activities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Understanding of the sales technology landscape and enterprise sales processes.
