About the role:

We’re looking for a Creative Director who is passionate about creating an elevated, customer-centric, brand experience for a global brand. They will be responsible for activating our brand by generating brand-elevating creative concepts across all our customer touchpoints. 

They will also be the "single-eye” for all creative work produced by their in-house and external teams ensuring a consistent brand story. Our ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated, proactive and collaborative problem solver who can take creative from conceptual strategy to a polished experience. They will not only be creatively strong, but also a business leader who will use data and customer insights to develop creative solutions that drive the business. They will also maintain a consistent voice that works seamlessly with the creative execution across all marketing touchpoints.

Location:

This role will be in our NYC office, in a hybrid capacity for three days a week.

At Dashlane you will:   

  • Lead strategic creative development & execution of all go-to-market programs across Brand, Growth / Life Cycle, Content, & Sales Enablement
  • Evolve our website and lead creative development, execution and design optimization of commercially oriented content & landing pages (e.g. homepage, navigation, blog, resources, conversion pages, solution pages, campaign pages etc.)
  • Own creative development and execution of all content hubs and sales enablement materials to support marketing and sales initiatives
  • Partner with Growth, PMM to build creative executions for  customer lifecycle & nurture campaigns
  • Oversee all campaign development—including strategic collaboration with marketing, campaign development, testing programs and iteration, creative development, production and execution
  • Work with Brand Design team to elevate brand aesthetics and create integrated experience
  • Be an expert in multi-formats & channels (social, display, video, email, web, content etc.) and constantly push the boundaries of our creative output
  • Build process, systems and infrastructure (tech, others) to meet SLAs and deliver high cadence, volume creative assets that drives awareness & response
  • Inspire, mentor, manage a team of designers, copywriters to do their best work
  • Manage agencies, freelancers and other resources needed to deliver cost efficient, on target execution of commercial creatives

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in commercially oriented creative direction and production
  • 3+ years of experience leading high-performance creative teams
  • 5+ years of experience in software/technology and / or B2B marketing

We're Also Looking For:

  • Demonstrated experience in brand building, including implementing new positioning and supporting brand re articulation within a growing category 
  • Experience in scaling brands and communications for a growing business 
  • Experience in building brand-led / upper funnel campaigns with activations in digital channels, including paid social, display, content, video, events 
  • Thinks in systems and has experience ideating creative platforms 
  • Experienced manager and can lead a team of a design and copy creatives 
  • Proven track record of building commercial creative discipline and supporting business goals
  • Proven expert in successfully delivering response-driving omni channel creatives
  • Strong understanding and application of industry creative trends and creative tools
  • Desire to bring in new creative ideas and digital / visual trends.
  • Experience managing a variety of creative positions, including graphic designer, copywriter, art director, production, photography, production
  • Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to enthusiastically and proactively manage the creative process from concept to completion working closely with inputs from key partners to ensure strategy, brand and customer alignment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead directly and indirectly and through influence
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations
  • Experience working effectively in a heavily cross-functional, fast-paced environment

Salary Range: $170,000 - $195,000

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of total compensation package that also includes benefits, and other opportunities at Dashlane. We also include equity in all compensation packages and believe 100% of Dashlaners should have an option to purchase ownership in the company and benefit from what we hope will be a lot of upside growth.

Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Dashlaners.  We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Dashlane to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
