We’re looking for a Vice President, Brand and PR who is passionate about creating an elevated, customer-centric, brand experience for Dashlane. They will lead the development & activation of the brand & communication strategy to drive growth and increase market share by elevating awareness, consumer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.

The VP is responsible for delivering a full-funnel brand and communication program, that builds upon our brand heritage, and drives the business on an upward trajectory. This person will own brand marketing, creative, content, and all PR / communications focusing on the Dashlane brand and its product line. They will partner with growth, product marketing, brand design, sales and customer success to activate the Brand across all channels ensuring a cohesive go-to-market approach with consistent look and feel, voice, messaging, content. They will also work closely with analytics and research to track brand health and use data to inform strategy. The VP will identify distinct marketing opportunities at pivotal moments and deploy effective brand storytelling to fuel sales and brand growth.

Our ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative leader who can build brands from conceptual strategy to a polished experience. They will not only be a strong marketer, but also a creative problem solver who is an enthusiastic cross-functional partner, and will use data and customer insights to develop customer-centric solutions that drive the business. This person is role-model in the organization known for their ability to build and mentor a high performing team. 

This role can be either in person in our New York office, or work remotely in the US (EDT preferred) 

At Dashlane you will:

  • Lead the strategic development, and execution of the Dashlane brand strategy  
  • Continuously evolve the brand to make sure Dashlane is current with macro trends, maintain relevance and drive brand desirability 
  • In collaboration with CMO and functional peers, establish brand health and marketing KPIs to inform go-to-market strategies and actions.   
  • Develop marketing programs to drive brand demand, and commercialization strategies across all paid, and non-paid channels, inclusive of the brand, growth / lifecycle, content, and sales enablement to achieve the growth plan 
  • Drive category defining thought-leadership programming through paid, owned and earned media 
  • Own content strategy, development and execution across the customer flywheel
  • Own creative development and production of all brand, acquisition, retention, content and sales enablement materials to support marketing and sales initiatives   
  • Ensure integrated decision-making occurs by involving key stakeholders throughout the marketing and PR/communications program development, execution, and results  
  • Develop and lead Dashlane’s reputation strategy across industry press and cultivating key media relationships.
  • Oversee all campaign development—including strategic collaboration with marketing, campaign development, testing programs and iteration, creative development, production and execution  
  • Maintain and elevate a consistent voice, in partnership with brand design, that seamlessly activates the brand across all marketing touch points. 
  • Work with growth, analytics, research to constantly test and learn and maximize response  
  • Be an expert in the latest and greatest digital multi-formats & channels (social, display, video, email, web, content etc.) and constantly push the boundaries of our creative output  
  • Inspire, mentor, manage a team of marketing, creative and PR/comm team members to do their best work   
  • Responsible for out-of-house creative and PR agencies, freelancers and other resources needed to drive cost efficient, and effective deliverables 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing and brand building roles leading brand marketing, commercial creative  and / or communications strategy  
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership roles, managing high performing teams
