Dark Wolf Solutions, LLC is seeking a full-time Senior Proposal Manager who will provide support to a wide variety of proposal and business development activities across the company. The Senior Principal Proposal Manager will report to the Director of Growth and be a critical part of the corporate Growth Team, working closely with the Practice Area Leads and technical subject matter experts of the company. This candidate must be well-rounded in their ability to help across all aspects of the business development and proposal lifecycle to include determining favorable pursuit opportunities, writing and editing proposal sections, and desktop publishing. This position is located in Herndon, VA. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in authoring compliant and compelling competitive proposals and responses to requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, and Sources Sought notices. 
  • Leading strategy and early solutioning sessions to define and refine strengths, value propositions, win themes, and discriminators. The candidate will have a strong attention to detail to ensure compliance.
  • Independently managing proposals of all sizes (from small task orders to large single awards) from start to finish, ensuring the right proposal activities are implemented in relation to the size of the effort. Must be able to oversee junior managers/coordinators throughout the process to verify proper artifact creation such as schedules, templates/outlines, and compliance matrices.
  • Working hand-in-hand with personnel throughout the company to ensure the needed business development and capture activities are in motion and assist with those activities as needed.
  • Maintaining and continuously update the document library of business development materials.
  • Working in the company’s pipeline management tool to include learning the tool’s features and benefits, performing data entry, ensuring data integrity, and providing data analysis and reporting.
  • Assisting Growth Team Capture Managers in performing competitor and customer behavior analyses and developing capture strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong writing skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Suite
  • Minimum of 7 years of proposal development experience for Federal Government opportunities
  • Ability to ideate through and solve ambiguous situations and problems
  • Proactive attitude/entrepreneurial spirit and problem solver who takes initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to form excellent working relationships with all levels of employees
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, when necessary
  • U.S. Citizenship and an active U.S. Government Secret clearance or higher

Desired Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of the Federal Government’s contracting processes; understanding of the Federal Government’s buying process/acquisition lifecycle
  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Shipley proposal process
  • Experience managing GSA GWACs or multiple award ID/IQs
  • Experience with Google Workspace products to include Google Docs
  • Experience in and/or understanding of technical concepts in the areas of cybersecurity,
    software development, data science, and systems engineering

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $140,000 - $165,000, commensurate on experience.
