Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Cloud Engineer to design and deploy scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. Duties will include implementing customer requirements to build solutions leveraging Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, and other cloud native services. A qualified candidate will have demonstrated experience across multiple cloud providers and have a deep understanding of each provider’s infrastructure elements to include security and networking capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud infrastructures
  • 3 + years of experience with TCP/IP, HTTP, IP routing, NAT, VPC, VPN, VPS, network protocols, dedicated connections, firewalls, DNS, subnets, encryption, cloud internet services and load balancing
  • Proven experience using and implementing AWS services
  • Demonstrated experience designing cloud-based solutions built on Compute, Storage, Networking, Security and Monitoring Native Services
  • Experience working across multi-cloud network environments
  • Experience with cloud networking including VNET, VPC, VPNs, firewalls routing tables express routes, direct connects, network protocols and peering
  • Demonstrated experience with traffic engineering
    • AWS: VPC, transit gateway, CloudWatch, security groups, ELB
    • AZURE: VNET, VPN gateway, firewall and front door
  • Foundational understanding cloud security principles and best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, firewall configurations and network security groups
  • Experience with capacity planning, disaster recovery planning, and security audits
  • Demonstrated experience creating detailed documentation of network designs and configurations
  • Demonstrated experience monitoring and analyzing network performance metrics
  • US Citizenship with an active Top Secret security clearance with Polygraph

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with A&A workflows and tools
  • Experience with customer security requirements and systems
  • Experience monitoring system performance and recommending corrective action
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting applications in cloud environments
  • Experience using Azure and GCP
  • Experience with traffic engineering and Azure – VNET, VPN gateway, firewall, and Front Door
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience and educations
  • Certifications
    • AWS, Azure, GCP certifications preferred
