Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a candidate to serve as the Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) in support of the US Navy’s Maritime and Expeditionary Command and Control systems. The successful candidate will utilize their experience and skills as an ISSE to design, develop, implement, and document the system security requirements and compliance for multiple Navy systems. Efforts will include determining the DoD security requirements, working with the development team to architect the system in a way that incorporates the security requirements, as well as testing and documenting the security capabilities into system design documentation (SDD), standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other applicable documentation to ensure compliance with DoD Cybersecurity policies and agency guidelines, to including Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503, Committee on National Security Systems Publication (CNSSP), and NIST special publications.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as an ISSE, ISSM, or ISSO
  • DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level II Required
  • Experienced driving system security requirements gathering
  • Experienced analyzing and applying NIST security controls to a wide range of cloud and on-prem systems
  • Experienced developing and documenting DoD Assessment and Authorization documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree in information security or related discipline
  • US Citizenship and an active DoD SECRET security clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • DoD TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Experience supporting Navy Capability-Based-In Service Engineering Activity model as an Information System Security Engineer
  • Experience supporting Navy DevSecOps enterprises as an Information System Security Engineer
