What will I be doing:
We are looking for a polished and professional front of house Receptionist/Office Administrator to join our team based in our growing Paris office. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the office, greeting and welcoming them to Darktrace.
This is a full time position based in our Paris Office.
As the Receptionist/ Office Administrator you will act as the first point of contact for visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome. Day to day you’ll be:
- Directing visitors to the appropriate person and office,
- Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls,
- Ensuring the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material,
- Receiving, sorting and distributing daily post and deliveries,
- Maintaining office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges),
- Ordering front office supplies and keeping inventory of stock.
What experience do I need:
Darktrace warmly welcomes applications from candidates who are interested in building their career in reception/front of house. You will interact with people across the business and directly supporting those in the Paris office. You will have multiple priorities at one time, so you will need to be a good communicator and have superb time management skills, excellent attention to detail and self-motivation. It’s likely that you’ll also have:
- Some previous reception or front of house experience.
- Language Proficiency of minimum B2 in English and C1 in French is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and you'll enjoy interacting with people
- A professional and warm attitude, with a strong customer service focus; you'll be happy to assist wherever you can to make our guests and visitors feel welcome
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. scanners and printers)
