What will I be doing:
Our dynamic global People team are based across Americas, EMEA and APAC. We are focused on balancing the needs of the employee and the business, by building strong relationships with employees and managers, and working together to achieve business goals. We are looking for an experienced Senior People Advisor to join our friendly and collaborative HR team. The role will be based in our Paris office supporting all people matters across our France, Italy and Spain regions. There may be a requirement to travel to other offices on occasion.
You will act as the key HR point of contact across for employees across France, Italy and Spain (circa 130 employees). Managing relationships with key stakeholders across the business, advising on employee relations matters across the territory. You'll be:
- Guiding and supporting managers on employee relations matters in relation to conduct and capability, grievance and disciplinary matters, absence issues, and any other employee relation matters,
- Acting as representative of the company for the work council in France (CSE) and prepare files and agenda,
- Handling contentious issues in conjunction with the legal team and our appointed employment lawyer,
- The first point of call and answering general queries that are sent to the HR ticketing systems,
- Reviewing offer letters and contracts for the onboarding of new joiners for the Southern Europe region. Completing contract variations/addendums when required.
- Managing health insurance enrolment for new joiner and link occupational health,
- Managing the off boarding process including conducting exit interviews with leavers, identifying common trends and themes and reporting them back to the People Operations Manager.
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are properly applied,
- Managing the upkeep of the HR policies and contribute to policy updates,
- Cross checking payroll on a monthly basis,
- Continuously seeking ways to improve existing processes, including systems and tools to fit with evolving request from the business and drive efficiency.
- Monitoring and tracking probation reviews, performance reviews and flag potential issues,
- Maintaining employee records on our HR information system, ensuring accuracy and compliance,
- Supporting onboarding plans and ensure correct access for new hires,
- Providing coaching to stakeholders and employees on People Operations policies and procedures,
- Assisting the team with the roll out of HR projects and communications.
What experience do I need:
We welcome applicants who have strong previous experience working in an HR Advisor role. We would require you to have strong knowledge of French labour laws and regulations. You will be confident to work independently as well as a team member, on projects and tasks.
- Previous experience in HR dealing with employee relations casework and in staff representative bodies.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, and an understanding of an HR information system.
- A flexible and adaptable approach when managing key stakeholders.
- The ability to work well under pressure, with good time management and organisational skills.
- Confident to work independently, as well as team member, on projects and tasks,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Knowledge of the SYNTEC Collective agreement (desirable)
- A solid understanding employment law across France, Italy and Spain. Experience working across multiple European countries.

- HR Post graduate degree or equivalent qualification or experience
