What will I be doing?
Darktrace are looking for a Product Executive to be attached to its product development teams in Cambridge. Currently this role is performed in tandem with the technical development of the products.
The role is based in our Cambridge Headquarters, and you will be expected to be available to work from the office whenever required.
At Darktrace our recruitment is focused on the right person, personality, and aptitude. As such industry knowledge, while beneficial, is not required – you will learn on the job. We will consider people with demonstrable success in any previous role.
You will gain a deep understanding of our specific cyber security products, immerse yourself in the industry, and work closely with the technical team. As a Product Executive, you will advise on industry terminology, manage diverse security requirements, and lead security initiatives. Other responsibilities will include:
- Writing product documentation – explaining concepts you know in clear language,
- Testing new features and workflow,
- Delivering internal messaging on new features,
- Collating materials for publication.
What experience do I need?
This role would be suitable with someone who possess an inquisitive mindset for continuous learning and who will proactively engage in research and development.
The role would be suitable for a humanities graduate with a desire for learning new areas, or a technical graduate with a creative aptitude. Alternatively an individual with a background in a disciplined career path seeking a career change. You should also be able to demonstrate:
- Strong analytical and organisational skills,
- Being a team player but with the ability to operate autonomously and take independent decisions,
- Knowledge or interests in cyber-security / malware forensic would also be desirable.
